Help us kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month

12th Annual Purple Power Day

Help us spread awareness about domestic violence this Domestic Violence Awareness Month by wearing purple on October 6th. Tag us @beaconcentersd and use the hashtag #purplepowerday on your social media to show everyone you stand against domestic violence.

Remember that raising awareness is just one part of the effort to combat domestic violence. Supporting organizations that assist survivors, volunteering your time, and advocating for policies and initiatives that promote domestic violence prevention and support for survivors are crucial steps in making a positive impact.

By coming together on October 6th and wearing purple, we can send a powerful message of unity and support to those affected by domestic violence and work towards creating a safer and more compassionate community for all.
