Food and Supplies

Beacon Center is very fortunate to have the support of our community. It would be impossible for Beacon Center to provide necessary items for our clients without the tremendous generosity of our community.

If you have furniture or large household items, please call 605-886-4304. We may have a client requesting such items.

How Do I Donate?

To make donating to our pantry easier, we have put a donation box at the entrance of County Fair Food Store and a donation cart at customer service in HyVee. Additionally, you can shop our online wishlists and send items that we are currently in need of directly to our pantry! Our wishlists are updated monthly. Shop online here:

Target - https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/beaconcenter-wishlist

Walmart - https://www.walmart.com/registry/RR/1df9a705-74d6-4b1d-836f-5621daffdd61

Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3LA8VEYFJZ7ZK

Additionally, your donations and monetary gifts can be dropped off or mailed to our office at 801 Jenson Ave SE Watertown, SD 57201. We accept donations daily between the hours of 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, or call 605-886-4304 to make an appointment.

Donation Reminders

We cannot accept donations of the following used items: car safety seats, toys, stuffed animals, bikes, VHS tapes, books, magazines, and large electronics.

We kindly ask for no damaged or broken household furniture/supplies and expired food/hygiene products.

If donating clothing, please limit your donation to 1 or 2 bags due to low storage space. Speak with staff if you are wanting to deliver large gently used furniture.

If you have a lot of items to donate please deliver them to Angel's Attic located in the Watertown Mall (1300 9th Ave SE, Watertown, SD 57201), and donate them in Beacon Center’s name.
