Threads of Hope
The sewing room is always filled with laughter and chatter as clients sew. You can’t imagine the feeling when clients proudly show their latest finished product. We’ve seen everything from pillowcases, bags, to dresses. It’s a "happy" place, and the clients look forward to sewing up more good memories in the coming year.
Maggie
Hi everyone! My name is Maggie and I work at the Beacon Center. Yep, I’m a dog and I work at the Beacon Center and boy did they need me!

Pet Safe Haven
Research shows that offenders of domestic violence often have a pattern of abuse involving all members of the household – including children and pets. When victims of domestic violence seek to escape their abusive homes they’re not only faced with the challenge of finding shelter for themselves and their children, but also for their pets.
