To all donators of gently-used items:

Beacon Center has been very fortunate to have the support of our community. It would be impossible for Beacon Center to provide necessary items for our clients without the tremendous generosity of our community.

However, due to safety, staffing and storage considerations, we are only able to accept your gently-used donations of in-season clothing, linens, strollers, luggage and kitchen wares on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm. We must limit your gently-used donation to two (2) bags or boxes, due to our limited storage.

We cannot accept donations of the following used items: car safety seats, toys, stuffed animals, bikes, VHS tapes, books, magazines, or large electronics (such as computers and TVs).

Your donations of food, new items and monetary gifts will continue to be accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am – 7 pm, or call 605-886-4304 to make an appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and for making a difference in the lives of those who have experienced violence.
